Recovery Ministry Leader

The Recovery Ministry Leader will work under minimal supervision, develop, lead and teach the adult Celebrate Recovery (CR) ministry program to create a robust discipleship and spiritual growth program helping those working through hurts, habits and hang-ups.  Prepare budget for the Celebrate Recovery program and be accountable for maintaining the established guidelines.  Officiate special services, such as weddings and funerals.  Work on routine to complex problems. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Follower of Jesus Christ
  • Training and/or experience as a minister of the Christian faith
  • Demonstrated proficiency to effectively teach small and large groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively under the pressure of time constraints.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Leader of people. Able to motivate others.
  • Stands behind the mission and vision of Northside Christian Church


  • At least 2 years experience in ministry

Northside Internship

The Northside Internship Program is for any man or woman who feels that God is leading them into full time ministry.  This person would also have prior ministry experience in an area serving the Next Generation (Birth-College).  We highly value individuals who are self-starters, quick learners, love a challenge, have a heart to serve, a positive attitude, flexibility, a sense of humor, and an ability to work within a team environment.


  • A growing follower of Jesus for at least two years
  • High School graduate
  • At least one-year experience volunteering in ministry
  • A team player who likes fun and possesses a genuine love for people
  • Must be able to provide their own cell phone, laptop, reliable transportation
  • Willingness to adhere to NCC staff guidelines, values, and expectations
